"LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION!"- The Art of Movie Making

Spend a week learning what it takes to make movie magic: camera setup and operation, shot composition, and basic video editing. Each group will create their very own short film, from creating the story and shooting the video, to burning a finished DVD!

ZAP! POW! The Art of Drawing Comics

July 6-10 @ 1:00PM-2:00PM

Spend a week learning the fundamentals of drawing comics. You will learn how to simplify people into cartoon characters, bring them to life through basic comic book story-telling, and even create your own short comic strip! Bring your imagination because in the world of comics, anything is possible!

Grades: Middle & High School
Cost: $65

Learn how to create exceptional images with any digital camera along with a basic understanding of settings such as "shutter speed" and "aperture" and how these different settings allow you to have real creative control in your hands. At the end of the class, we'll print your own book images!

A digital camera with an operator's manual is recommended.
