VSA Kentucky is accepting entries for artwork for the VSA of Kentucky gallery located at Bandy Carroll Hellige Public Relations in Louisville, KY. VSA Kentucky is a statewide nonprofit organization that promotes arts, education and creative expression for all, with an emphasis on persons with disabilities.

ELIGIBILITY

VSA Kentucky is now accepting submissions in all media except 3-Dimensional work for various exhibition opportunities throughout the state of Kentucky.* The call is open to all artists over the age of 18 in the United States. We are particularly interested in work created by artists with disabilities. Only 2-dimensional work will be accepted and there is no limit to the number of slides or digital images you may submit.

* Some shows may require work to hang for three (3) months.

SUBMISSIONS

All submission must be high quality slides, photographs or digital images. Slides will be returned only if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included. Each image should be labeled individually and legibly and should include the following:

SELECTION PROCESS

Artwork will be selected based on creativity, originality, use of medium, technique and composition by an independent panel. High quality reproductions can improve your chances of acceptance. Blurred images, bad lighting and poorly chosen backgrounds can detract from your work. VSA Kentucky can provide you with guidelines for quality submissions if needed.
