VSA picArtist Roster

Artists with and without disabilities are an intricate part of our programming in Kentucky. Our artist residencies are offered in every congressional district in the state and provide professional opportunities for our teaching artists in many different settings. Our VSA Kentucky Artist Roster is adjudicated and comprised of professional artists who not only have a solid background in their art forms, they also are excellent teachers who have had experience in working with individuals with disabilities. These artists are experienced and trained in adapting their art forms to special needs. New artists on our Roster are mentored by VSA of Kentucky master artists.

Artist Registry

Our Artist Registry is a database of Kentucky artists with disabilities in visual, performing and literary arts. Individual experience levels range from emerging self-taught artists to professional career artists. Inclusion on the Registry does not guarantee exhibition or performance opportunities. Being listed on the Registry, however, does make the artist and the artist’s work known to VSA Kentucky and other arts agencies, should an opportunity arise. Information on exhibits and performance opportunities are distributed to Registry artists as they are made known to VSA of Kentucky.
